Christmas at the Bowdens

This year we had the opportunity to spend Christmas with Matt's family in Arizona. It's always fun hanging out with Matt's family and this time was no exception. Matt's mom is actually one of my favorite craft buddies. This year we had fun mod podging/glittering while the boys went to an ASU basketball game. To see my project check out my craft blog here.

We flew in just in time to attend our nephew Kirkie's baptism (shown below with Matt). It was a really neat experience to be there and we are so proud of him for being baptized.

Later that week we drove down to Tucson again to go to Kartchner Caverns. It is one of the coolest caves I've ever been to so if you are ever in Arizona I highly recommend it.

On Christmas Eve, aka my birthday, we had the whole family over for a party. Matt's mom was creative and came up with some fun activities for the kids like pin the nose on rudolph and cookie decorating.

I had to take a picture of my newest neices Reagan and Sadie. Don't they look cute in their Christmas attire?

After the games everyone sang Happy Birthday and we all ate some German Chocolate cake which is my favorite. One of my presents was in a huge amazon box that Blair wanted to see if she could fit into. She is so cute! Later that day we went out to dinner at On the Border and watched A Christmas Story. It was a great day and Matt is glad I'm 25 now because our car insurance goes down.

On Christmas Day we woke up at 6 am to watch Janey's little boy Brooks open his presents. It was so fun to watch how excited he was for everything. Later that morning we went to church and enjoyed a wonderful musical Sacrament Meeting held by the ward choir. After church we decided to go see my Grandma Tanner. It's always fun seeing her and being around her positive attitude. Later that night we swung by Matt's grandparents house to wish them a Merry Christmas as well.

Overall, we had a great time and can't wait to go back which may be in February depending on how a certain job interview goes for me. More on that later...
