Hollywood Studios

Our third day we decided to brave the rainy weather (equipped with our lovely ponchos) to check out Hollywood Studios. It ended up being a great park for a rainy day because a lot of the attractions were indoors and all the attractions are spaced fairly close together.

The first thing we did was book it over to ride the famous "Tower of Terror". We've done this in California, but thought it would be packed, surprisingly, it wasn't and we walked straight in. Disney does a great job setting the mood and it never ceases to amaze me all the detail they put into every ride. I enjoyed walking through the creepy hotel and loved dropping in the elevator.

The next thing we wanted to do was ride the Rock n' Roller coaster. This ride was intense. This roller coaster shoots forward and goes through twists and turns in the dark. It was really fun.

One of our favorite rides was the Toy Story Ride. You ride in a cart with 3D glasses and you play different mini-games where you try to hit targets with a cannon. It's really fun because you try to beat your partner and get the best score. It's hard to explain, but it was awesome. We only rode it once because the lines were insane for it, but we wished we could have rode it more (Although to be fair, the line was only 35 minutes, which is one of the shortest lines I've ever waited in at Disneyland).

After that we pretty much just hung around and watched some shows. We saw Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, two stunt shows, and the muppets 3D show. We like the muppets show the best, but all the shows were very entertaining.

This is me at "The hat" entrance.

Matt is sporting his hot poncho by kermit. Doesn't he look like he's having a blast?

On another note, I wanted to share a funny experience we witnessed:

As we were waiting to get on the shuttle, the very large female bus driver was struggling for about 5 minutes to strap this gentleman in a wheelchair in. She was literally almost lifting the guy up chair and all to get him in. As soon as she strapped his wheelchair in (literally about half a second after), he stood up, walked over to a normal seat, and sat down, with a very slight sign of a limp. It was like something straight out of a movie...the nerve of some people.
