Thanksgiving Week

We've spent the last week in Arizona visiting Matt's family for Thanksgiving.

On Thursday we flew into Phoenix and went out to lunch. Then Jenna came over and we played with Sara Jane and Sumner. On Friday we played with our nephew Kirkie and Blair since they were visiting for the weekend from Tucson.

Saturday we took the kids to Freestone park. We fed the ducks and watched them go on all the rides. After the park the boys went to the basketball game and the girls went to the mall.

Sunday we went over to see my Grandma. We made French Toast and then went to church with her. It's always fun talking with her. She is one amazing lady!

On Monday we went to see Matt's grandma and grandpa. We played games, went out to lunch, and chatted.

On Tuesday the girls all came over to make paper crafts. I made decorative Christmas blocks. You can see them on my craft blog. Tuesday night we drove down to Surprise to visit Matt's high school friends. It was fun meeting them and hearing funny stories about Matt.

On Wednesday we drove down to Tucson to see Kirk and Leah and their kids. We had fun playing with the kids, talking, and playing games. We also helped them take pictures for their Christmas card. It turned out really cute!

Thursday we had Thanksgiving dinner. Matt made his famous homemade rolls and it was fun to see the whole family. Everything tasted delicious. After dinner we played a game with Matt's grandparents.

On Friday we avoided the Black Friday early bird specials, but we did go shopping for fun to check out the deals. I got some cute fabric at Hobby Lobby. I can't wait to put it to use and make something cute. Friday night we flew back to Utah. I was glad we left Friday because the airport wasn't crowded and we missed a huge snowstorm that was coming in.

This morning we woke up to 8 inches of snow and barely made it to church. It looks like it's definitely going to be a white Christmas!
