Turkey Day Weekend

We had a very relaxing Turkey Day weekend. It consisted of lots of sleeping in, snuggling up by the fire watching movies, eating ice cream, crafting, watching football, playing video games, and overall just being lazy. It was bliss! After writing a 20 page research paper and another 6 page paper along with tons of other homework I was exhausted mentally and Matt has been really busy with the new job so we were both feeling especially lazy and tired. So lazy in fact that we didn't even cook Thanksgiving dinner this year. We planned on cooking dinner, but after forgetting some ingredients by accident we threw up our hands and said lets just go out to dinner. So we decided to go to Mimi's Cafe to partake of our Thanksgiving feast. It was delicious, not that expensive, and it was a ton of food. We got French onion soup, salad, bread, turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, the best mashed potatoes I've ever tasted, and pumpkin pie. Yum! The best part about it was that we didn't have to cook or clean up the dishes. We are planning on making the Thanksgiving dinner we planned on making on Sunday so the food definitely won't go to waste. My sister Lauren might also get to eat with us too so it's a win-win. We love Thanksgiving and it's a great time to remember all the blessings in our life. Thank you to all our wonderful family and friends. We missed you guys this weekend!
