We weren't sure what they meant by "boobies" but the rest sounded like a lot of fun.
You start off by taking a small boat ride out to the jet ski platform. You then hop aboard and your off cruising around in the ocean. 15 or 20 minutes into the ride the guide had us stop and look at the water. We saw TONS of dolphins everywhere. They were jumping out of the water, and looked like they were having a great time.
Riding a jet ski in the ocean is so much fun. Costa Rica is known as a good surfing spot (the surf wasn't too great when we were there), but there were some gigantic swells (wave like ripples that never crash) . Some of the swells were 10 feet tall, which created ramps for us to jump off, and ride down.
About an hour into the tour we stopped and snorkeled. The snorkeling wasn't too great because of the storm the day before, but we still saw plenty of fish.
Rachel rode the jet ski back into the platform, and did a good job of driving crazy. It was a blast. unfortunately we didn't want to risk losing our camera, but rest assured it was one of the highlights of our trip.
We went back to our hotel and started packing up to check out. We looked out the window, and there was a sloth just a few feet away from our balcony. We were so intrigued we watched the thing for at least 30 minutes. It's impossible to describe how slow moving those things are. It took it literally 30 minutes to move 7 feet. Rachel snapped a great picture of it. They are really strange looking.
We then went to lunch at a nice little outdoor patio place. The food was incredible. We had pizza baked on kind of a thick tortilla. It was really good, and very reasonably priced.
After checking in at our new hotel we decided to go to the beach to buy some stuff (necklaces, pots, etc.), but a few minutes into our trip the rain started up again so we went back to our hotel.
We decided to go the next day (our last day :( )
We really liked our last hotel in Manuel Antonio. It wasn't as nice or luxurious as La Mansion Inn (Where we stayed with the jacuzzi in our room, etc), but everyone was really friendly, and I felt more at home there. And it was nice being greeted by a swan with Chocolate on it's wings. I did miss the nightly snickers from La Mansion, however. For some reason at 8:00 PM at La Mansion a housekeeper would walk around handing people towels with a Snickers on top. We didn't mind, it was just a little odd.
